Powerpoint Presentation and Solution from April HTML5 Talk
KendoUI by Telerik
KendoUI is a complete framework for HTML5 apps
Kendo UI provides everything you need for building modern, interactive, JavaScript applications. It delivers a rich framework for client-side data binding, templating, animation, and drag-and-drop actions. Don’t waste time trying to assemble a bevy of jQuery Plugins. Kendo UI delivers a seamless, professionally tested and supported HTML5 toolbox for every project.
More than UI
Kendo UI combines everything needed for modern JavaScript development, including rich UI Widgets, a powerful DataSource, an MVVM framework, universal Drag-and-Drop, Templates, and Themes.
Latest web standards
Building on top of the popular jQuery JavaScript library, Kendo UI leverages the latest in CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript web standards while still delivering broad support for all major browsers and mobile devices like iOS, Android and BlackBerry.
Uncompromising Performance
UI in the browser should be fast. From UI virtualization and blazing micro templates, to hardware acceleration, Kendo UI cuts no corners to deliver raw speed. It’s scary fast.

Application Development with HTML5
Application Development with HTML5
Adam Greene, Software Solutions Specialist at Cognitive X Solutions, @aspnetaddict
HTML5 is the biggest and most powerful HTML specification to ever come out of the W3C. Its roots come from a proposal to extend HTML4 to make it easier for web developers to create web applications. With more and more browsers supporting HTML5, ECMAScript 5 and other web standards, developers now have a strong web platform they can use to create a new class of application that is more powerful and interactive than ever before. What’s in HTML5 that lets us take our applications to the next level?

.NET Code Contracts
On Wednesday January 18th. MonctonUG presents “.NET Code Contracts”, by Rémi Després-Smyth
As the first presentation in 2012, Rémi will provide us with an overview of .NET Code Contracts and how to apply them in your code.
Code Contracts?
Code Contracts provide a language-agnostic way to express coding assumptions in .NET programs. The contracts take the form of preconditions, postconditions, and object invariants. Contracts act as checked documentation of your external and internal APIs. The contracts are used to improve testing via runtime checking, enable static contract verification, and documentation generation.
